The joy of a few words

Ever thought of a person, and wanted to mail them, but never actually got to type out a few words to say hello? Ever thought I will mail them tomorrow, when I have a bit more time, a bit more content, a bit more context?

Everyone goes through the pain of procastination, especially if you really really want to, but never get to do something.

I spent a year and half saying tomorrow I will definitely do it, regretting every single following day. Every time I desperately wanted to type in that precious email, I didnt have a damn computer in front of me. How unfortunate. I have often thought I will draft an email once I reach office, send it to my personal id and just fwd on, but every time I thought so I would be in a train reaching office, and once in office, immersed in official work.

My memory isnt that great and I did forget quite a few names after I got hit on the head with a cricket ball, my office doesnt allow me to connect to my personal email, family life comes with a lot of responsibility, I spend a fraction of time online as I once used to, I dont even feel like switching on a computer after being in front of one all day, but all this is just a plain old excuse, which I knew in my heart, but tried to defend with my brain. How sick and vain!

Today that I DID get to do it, it was a huge huge thing off my heart. The satisfaction of that make me jump all over my place like a bunny. I felt so light I could have flown. Thats one heck of a feeling. And whats more, I got a reply from the person 5 mins later. After a year and a half, nothing like the joy of a few words to a dear friend.

Back to flying...

Puls My Dear

Join me in wishing Mr. Puls a very very happy birthday. I dont remember which year he was born though. Anywayz, hes always young thanks to God's grace. I love him from the bottom of my heart. So does a million others, but he would always be special to me. My friend, philosopher, guide and God. He has an amazing personality, and his charisma can draw people towards him. I am proud to be associated with him in an endearing way for about 18 yrs now. Love ya puls. Love ya so damn much. Just next to my parents though. Knowing him, he wouldnt mind settling for second best in my heart :)

Today's Special

Not everyday is today. Not many days brim with news like today did. Maybe its cos its a PR expert's bday. So lemme start off with wishing the Princess a very very happy bday! Today was also the day of a special function for my cousin looking forward to her first kid. One of my best friends through college, Sriram Saroop, is getting married today as well. My best wishes to him! And to top it all, ofcourse, came the BIG BIG BIG news from J. Finally, thanks to all the prayers of the well wishers, my life is gonna change quite dramatically in ejjatly 2 months' time. As expected, I am just too happy and cant hide my smile anywhere. Why should I? ;) At the end of all this, I pretty much got ragged by my own parents about things to come with subtle warnings about things that might happen :P What they forgot what that as much as they know me, I know them :)

Anywayz, for those who feel that they might not be able to talk and chat with me as frequently, I always value my friends highly, and as I always say, I am never too busy for my friends :) Ofcourse some will disagree after my recent abscondings :P

Best Blogger of the Year 2005

I dont really differentiate among my friends or foes, if any. But since I have a lot of time on my hands and a lot of bloggers have been getting on my nerves by not posting anything, I am gonna start this... No no, no tags. Just my opinion. Plain blunt unbiased opinion (to such an extent that both Sun and Jaya TV will telecast the SAME thing!).

Triggered by Ms. V's lack of self respect, and borrowing from her huge vocabulary, I will spout my critique. Everyday is gonna be a nightmare (for those who know me, my day starts at night) for some blogger who did enough bad deeds in his/her last life (or blog life, whichever is shorter) to warrant a thorough bashing and lashing at this blog. In no particular order, I will let out my fury. The ones in my 'preferred' list will surely get a mouthful. Meanwhile, if you think there is any other blog worth commenting about, keep it to yourself. As I said, this is strictly MY OPINION of 2005 wrt the blogs that I visit.

Ofcourse, it will end with naming my favorite blogger!

Btw, every one of you can vote for a particular blogger in their 'exclusive' posts. This will definitely be taken into consideration in this secular forum. For example, if we are the UN, your votes will equal the votes of individual nations and my vote will be the US vote.
